In today's edition: Mini Vintage Flea, Vision Plan Workshop, Capybaras + more St. Augustine news & events
Good Morning, St. Augustine!
I'm James, and this is the 28th issue of the Old City Lowdown. If newsletter issues were like hits in baseball, we'd only be 4,228 behind Pete Rose. Guess we've got some catching up to do!
Before I dive in, I’ve got to give a quick shoutout to Kevin Geddings at WSOS 103.9 FM here in St. Augustine for having me on the air yesterday, along with Lowdown sponsor Jaren Woeppel of Motto Mortgage Invictus. Thanks for letting us take over the mic, Kevin!

☕️ Capybara Cafe set to open October 12
Judging by reactions on Facebook, the most anticipated new local business of the year is set to open its doors next weekend at 105 S. Ponce de Leon Blvd. A bit of mystery surrounds the concept, but we know one thing… there will in fact be Capybaras. I will reach out to the organization and report back next week.
