Local Business News

🖼️ Mumu Vintage Officially Opens in Uptown

On Saturday, the house at 4 Locust St. became the home of Mumu Vintage, the newest locally owned business in the Abbott Tract of Uptown. Owners Elizabeth Pozniak and Laura Louden have created a space that's as beautiful and detailed as the unique pieces it holds.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by brightly colored rooms, impeccable design, and hundreds of hand-picked vintage items. From antique pottery to stunning glassware, must-have houseware, and clothing, there's a little bit of everything (I picked up a particularly sweet fisherman coffee mug that is now among my most prized possessions).

Elizabeth Pozniak and Laura Louden at the Grand Opening of Mumu Vintage | September 14, 2024

The shop itself is a draw, but it's the warmth and joy that Laura and Elizabeth bring that will keep you there. They're gracious hosts who add to the excitement of the space and we are thrilled for their new venture. So, after a quick pit stop next door at Spinster Abbott’s, hurry to Mumu and start your own treasure hunt.

Follow along with the Mumu Vintage journey on Instagram and be sure to tell Elizabeth and Laura we sent you the next time you stop in.
