Hornskiās is [Almost] BACK!

After what could be considered an extremely lengthy delay, Hornskiās Vinyl Lounge Brewing Co. is coming back to us next month!
Now two blocks west of the original location, Hornskiās will be opening itās new doors at 100 Anastasia Blvd. on Thursday, March 13 at noon.

Honoring history & community through music
The 4th Annual Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series is back, bringing world-class music to a historic setting from February 6-16, 2025. This yearās lineup includes Snarky Puppy, Tower of Power, Dinner Party, Macy Gray, and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, among others. Held at Fort Mose Historic State Park, the event blends rich history with unforgettable performances.

St. Augustine Approves Marine Center Expansion, Land Preservation
City officials approved the expansion of the St. Augustine Marine Center, adding office, commercial, and patio space, along with new boat slips and service bays. Separately, the city commission approved purchasing over 17 acres across three sites for preservation, including land along Hospital Creek, Avery and Theodore Streets, and east of Beacon Street. Former Kings Head Pub Property Sold for $1.73M
The former Kings Head Pub site at 6460 U.S. 1, known for its iconic double-decker bus, has been sold to Jacksonville-based First Pub LLC for $1.728 million. You may have seen @unnamed_pub pop up on Instagram recently. New ownership intends to keep the site a pub, but they are asking the public for input on a new name. Visit their Instagram to see updates and submit naming ideas. The historic bus has been preserved by local business owner Craig Smith, who has yet to announce plans for its restoration or display. | Jacksonville Business Journal
SJC Student Data Compromised in Breach
A recent data breach at PowerSchool, a widely used educational software provider, has compromised personal information of students in the St. Johns County School District. The breach, discovered on December 28, 2024, involved unauthorized access to students' names, contact details, and dates of birth. The district has notified affected families and is offering two years of complimentary identity protection services through Experian. Parents are advised to monitor their children's accounts for any suspicious activity.
