📜 St. Augustine launches Vision Plan online survey

If you haven’t been able to make any of the St. Augustine Vision Plan Public Workshops, don’t fret. The city has launched an online survey to gather additional feedback regarding the vision and direction of the city. The survey will remain open until December 22. The final adoption of the Vision Plan will take place in January.

Early Voting open through Saturday

A friendly reminder that early voting remains open this week. You can vote early at any of the nine early voting locations from 8AM-6PM until Saturday evening. After that, you’ll need to wait for Election Day on Tuesday, November 5.

⛵️ Nao Trinidad returns to St. Augustine

The replica of Magellen’s flagship, the nao Trinidad, returns to St. Augustine Municipal Marina today. Guided and self-guided tours are available aboard the floating museum between October 29 and November 17. The nao Trinidad led the first circumnavigation from 1519 to 1522, connecting continents and cultures on a historic journey that opened new routes across the globe.

🏢 St. Augustine City Commission meets tonight

The City Commission’s public hearing is tonight at 5PM, covering public encampment enforcement and the proposal to close part of Spanish Street to cars.

🏖️ Become a St. Augustine Beach resident

The City of St. Augustine Beach invites owners of adjacent properties to consider annexation, offering benefits like quick responses to planning and permitting for commercial owners, and for residential owners, additional perks such as rapid police response, reliable waste collection, and a stronger political voice with the City Commission and advisory committees.

Spooky season is well upon us so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to grab a pumpkin spice latte (iced, it's still Florida) and take a haunted tour through St. Augustine.

This episode features Tour St. Augustine, giving us a little history and a lotta haunt as Cathy Hatton shares some of her favorite stories from her time at the shop!

Check out their free tours: History, Mystery, Mayhem & Murder on Sundays at 2PM, Historic Walking Tour on Saturdays at 2PM, and Historic Pub Crawl Tour on Thursdays and Saturdays at 5PM on TourStAug.com. Make sure you ask your guide if they've had any personal encounters at the haunted spots - they all have a story…
